The Bread and Milk Story

One morning, there was no food for breakfast at Müller's orphanage. Rather than panic, Müller gathered the children and thanked God for the meal they were about to receive.

Moments later, a baker arrived with fresh bread. Soon after, a milk wagon broke down outside the orphanage, and the driver donated the milk before it spoiled.

The children ate breakfast that morning.

This became one of the most famous stories associated with George Müller's extraordinary life of faith.
